Terracotta Bust of Dionysus
The Terracotta Bust of Dionysus (the Greek god of ecstasy, wine, and sensory liberation) is a handcrafted item made according to Tuscan tradition.
It is made with clay resistant to low temperatures: down to -15° C. It is a perfect product to decorate your garden.
Initially, terracotta appears as a soft, gray material that allows the potter to easily work the clay.
The clay is manually inserted into plaster molds and takes on the desired shape.
The clay must remain inside the mold for the necessary time to dry.
Therefore, the potter can make the necessary finishing touches to enhance its beauty.
Subsequently, before firing, the product must dry completely to avoid unpleasant breakage.
The temperature is gradually raised to 1000 °C: the temperature at which the actual firing takes place.
It is important to explain that this process requires 3 days:
Once finished, the product is solid and pinkish in color.
However, due to the handcrafted nature, products may vary slightly in size, weight, and color.
You can purchase it online securely with PayPal or credit card: Delivery throughout Italy.
