The temperature is gradually increased until it reaches 1000 °C: the temperature at which the actual firing takes place.

It is important to explain that this process requires 3 days:

• 1 day to raise the temperature to 1000 degrees
• 2 days to lower it and finally extract the finished product from the oven.

Once finished, the product is solid and pinkish in color.
