• Cold-painted: We use very smooth majolica clay, on which the painter applies washable tempera paints and waxes. Every item is freehand-painted, making it unique.

For items containing gold or silver, the process is even more complex: first, a special varnish is applied, then real gold or silver leaf is laid down. Finally, with the use of waxes, the item takes on an elegant, slightly aged look.
